Nature Informed Therapy Workshop Thursdays September 28; October 5, 12, 19, 26; November 2; 5 - 6:30 p.m. This program is a 6-week course that integrates nature connection with mindfulness and other resiliency practices to assist people with stress, anxiety, life transitions or pain. The course is led by a team of licensed therapists. The program includes guided relaxation, mostly mindfulness and breathing techniques, forest bathing invitations, therapeutic group conversations, information about stress and stress reactions, a healthy lifestyle, as well as nature’s role in health and stress reduction. Participants report leaving the course with a newfound appreciation for the healing capacity of nature in addition to having better tools to manage mental health challenges. Adults $180 per person ($150 for ORNCC Members) Price includes 6 sessions. Registration for this program closes on Monday, September 25.
Members may only register guests who are included in their membership. All others must initiate their own registration.
This is an in-person program that is primarily outside. In the case of inclement weather or theme related needs we may utilize indoor spaces. All fees paid are considered donations and are not refundable unless Oregon Ridge Nature Center cancels the program. A reminder email with details will be sent to all registered guests prior to the program.
